Mass Ave Cultural Arts District (MACAD)

The Mass Ave Cultural Arts District (MACAD) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit public benefit organization that seeks to strengthen the placemaking, vibrancy, connectivity, equity, heritage and prosperity of  the Mass Ave District in the NE Quad of downtown Indianapolis.

Incorporated in April 2021, it is committed to providing all visitors, businesses, and residents, shared stewardship and a welcoming sense of belonging to the district.

Mass Ave Merchants Association (MAMA)

The Cultural Arts District is powered by small, independent, and local businesses at the intersection of art, culture and commerce. The Mass Ave Merchants Association (MAMA) is a MACAD committee operating as a 501(c)6  nonprofit business association focused on promoting, encouraging, and supporting the development of Member businesses in the Mass Ave Cultural Arts District.
